Taking the stage on Carnival
LIVE sailings in early 2016 will be music legends Gladys Knight, Journey, KC & The Sunshine Band and Trace Adkins, plus comedienne Kathy Griffin. In addition,
Carnival has just announced that they have added country star Sam
Hunt, plus comedians Chris Tucker and Jim Gaffigan to their lineup.
Chris
Tucker is an award-winning actor and comedian best known for his starring role
as Detective James Carter in the Rush Hour films. He became a favorite on HBO
Def Comedy Jam and
starred in the 1995 cult classic Friday and
2013 Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook.
Jim
Gaffigan is a comedian whose humor largely revolves around fatherhood,
observations, and food. He is also regarded as a "clean" comic, using
little profanity in his routines. He has had several successful comedy
specials, including Mr. Universe and Jim Gaffigan: Obsessed, both of
which received Grammy nominations. This is a man that has sold out a show in Madison Square but you can see him up close on your Carnival cruise!
Getting tickets to any of these shows is as easy as
purchasing them on Carnival’s online shore excursion booking page prior to
sailing, or contacting the shore excursion desk once onboard (if there’s
anything left by the time you get onboard). Tickets run about $30 dollars per
person. VIP tickets will sell for
around $100 per person but that will guarantee seating in the first three rows
and include an exclusive meet and greet with photo opportunities.
