Cruising to Cuba...Updated

Just when it seemed that Cuba was becoming “the” Caribbean cruise destination of 2017, the threat of the reversal of U.S. policy regarding Cuba tourism hung over the cruise lines until the President’s announcement this past Friday.

However, based on the information that was publicized, it seems that  Caribbean cruises to Cuba will continue under the new restricted guidelines laid out by the Administration. From the start, the cruise lines made sure that all cruises to, and shore excursions in Cuba were in full compliance with regulations set forth by the US Department of the Treasury, Office of Foreign Assets Control ("OFAC"). What is uncertain at this point is if U.S. citizens can disembark their ship and tour with independent Cuban tour guides

So, if you booked a cruise to Cuba before the President’s announced policy shift Friday, don’t worry.  Caribbean cruise vacation to Cuba feel free to give us a call and we’ll be glad to assist you in finding the perfect itinerary for you!
Any policy changes will have little effect on your cruise vacation.  Or, if you were thinking about a future
