Are you planning a cruise aboard Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of
the Seas? You should know that there
have been some changes in the dining program that go into effect on November 27th. Here’s what you need to know…
In response to passenger’s negative feedback, the “Dynamic
Dining” concept has been scrapped and guests will now have the choice of
“flexible dining” or the more of the
traditional “main dining room experience.”
Guests that choose traditional dining will eat at a set time
each evening; there is an early, 6PM seating and a late 8:30PM seating. They
will dine with the same tablemates and waiters each night. Chic and Grande, located on deck 3, will be
designated as the early and late seating restaurants and guests will be
assigned one or the other for the duration of their cruise.
Flexible venues will be located on Deck 4 in American Icon
and Silk. Guests in Flexible Dining choose their preferred dining time and are
seated on a first come, first served basis including flexible table assignments.
All four of these restaurants will have identical menus each
evening. Formal night will also return; one on cruises 5-nights or shorter and
2 on longer cruises.
Families with small children can take advantage of My Family
Time dining benefits while sailing onboard Anthem of the Seas. This is
available as part of the traditional dining experience during the early seating
time and can be reserved pre-cruise via Cruise Planner or once onboard. My
Family Time dining allows children ages 3-to-11 to enjoy their meal within 40
minutes of seating before heading to the evening’s Adventure Ocean activities.
