Pretty scary looking, huh? The Ultimate Abyss on Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas is
more than 150 feet above sea level! It offers side-by-side slides that
send guests whooshing down and around at a rate of 9 miles per hour. Yikes!
Guests launch from a glass platform on deck 16 and have time for a quick prayer
and one last look at the Boardwalk 10 decks below before climbing onto a mat
and taking the plunge down to deck 6! There’s LED lights and graffiti artwork designed to create
a starry night and spontaneous audio effects within each tunnel that
create a multi-sensory thrill for daring guests. I can tell you now, I am
not a daring guest!
Royal Caribbean's Harmony of the Seas is currently sailing out of Barcelona and Civitavecchia. In November of 2016 she will sail to the Caribbean out of Fort Lauderdale.
